Hello! My name is Jonathan Rodriguez. I am a Junior at Booker High School in the VPA Film and Animation department. My main interest in the world of film is writing. So, of course, I spend much of my time creating screenplays left and right for my peers and teachers to ingest and provide feedback. I also like to write in the form of short stories or novels. A great portion of my time is probably spent on daydreaming about the stories that I create and the worlds that the plot is situated in.
My biggest hobbies are working out and folk wrestling. I started wrestling my sophomore year and I'm now onto my second year of it. It's become a passion of mine. In fact, I'm currently working on a script about the sport; it is currently on its sixth draft. I also play video games on the side as well as watching all kinds of films and T.V. shows, though those two hobbies aren't necessarily productive. Throughout the rest of the school year I will essentially write about our process for a guerrilla film that we are working on. "We" involves my classmates Myles, Josh, and Ashley. Shooting begins on the weekend of Valentine's day.
